CareLink has available a limited amount of funds to help people reduce the cost of taking CareLink’s CPR and First Aid certification courses. People wishing to reduce the rate they pay for CareLink’s CPR and First Aid courses must be employed in a child care setting and must submit an application for scholarship (complete with formal documentation of income ie: 4 consequecutive pay stubs or this year’s income tax return) at least 4 weeks before the course is scheduled. Signing up for the class at this time is recommended in order to secure a spot. The applicant will be notified of the level of scholarship for which they qualify at least 2 weeks before the class is scheduled. After receiving this notification the individual must submit the remainder of the fee required before attending the class. Please be aware that funding is limited and once it has been spent no more scholarships will be available for the remainder of the fiscal year.
